Easter!

This Easter started early with the kiddos waking me up to search for eggs that the Easter bunny left. Beckham and Ainsley were SO EXCITED to search Grammy and Poppy's house for all the eggs the Easter bunny left. They quickly found all the eggs and got right into the candy...forget the fact that it was 7:45! Kids after my own heart! Here are some pics of them searching.

Dying eggs on Saturday!

Searching for eggs filled with CANDY! What could be a better start to the day?!?!

After we searched for Easter eggs we all went to Gville to go to my church. I got baptized! It was an amazing experience. I am so happy I decided to do it and also that most of my family could be there for it! I didn't realize it was going to be Easter Sunday when I signed up, but God worked it out so my family could be there and also this will make all the future Easters even more special! I am so thankful for everything God has done in my life. I honestly don't know where I would be withouth Him in my life. I can't put into words how blessed I feel to be a daughter of the King and get the opportunity to live for Him. I know I am not perfect, but that's the beauty of it...I don't have to be! He died and rose for me ...my past, present, and future sins. Nothing I can do will make Him love me more or less. Thinking about it is pretty unbelievable. God is so sovereign and loving I am so thankful for his mercy and grace! Anyways...Here is a pic of me getting baptized.

Have a blessed day! He has risen!

Lucky Leprechaun!

I met a real life leprechaun over the weekend...he was too cute!

I loved his little shoes.

Engagement Dinner

This weekend was a busy weekend. Amy, David, Julie, Monte, Beckham, and Ainsley all came down to mom and dad's. We had an engagement dinner (a little delayed) with everyone and also had David's mom and some of her family. It was a lot of fun. It is so great to see Amy and him so happy!

Mom being mom thought of a game we could play. She had everyone write down questions to ask the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Campbell. Some of the questions were rather comical..."what are you going to name your first five kids?" or some more serious (dad)..."who is going to handle the finances?". They opened some presents and we ate LOTS of GREAT food. All in all it was a great night. We missed the rest of the fam...Katie and Adam's fam!

Here are some pics from the night.

How cute!

The cake mom made...you can't really see it that well...but it was AWESOME! Butter cream frosting...need I say more?
