Lost?

So I went running yesterday...it was supposed to be a 3 mile day, but I felt like running 6...so I decided to change it up and run at this park near downtown. I was running and really enjoying it...I wasn't really paying attention, just following the path and waving at the other runners when I realized I had no clue where I was. I kept running hoping I would recognize where I was eventually (Greenville isn't that big)...so about 20 minutes later I emerged in downtown Gville...so the question now was do I just go the way I know to get to my car or brave the paths again...I decided to do both...kinda. I went what I thought was the right way, only to realize I was running on a major road(don't worry mom, I was running so I could see the cars coming)...a few nice drivers "waved" me across (it's much more fun to be the waver that the wavee :) ) ...so I ran on the road for awhile until I saw a path I recognized, I cut down a big hill to get to it. So I did a little off roading and ended up on the path. 10 short minutes later I was back at my car. I think I ended up running 8 or 9 miles. It was fun and a good change of pace. Next time I am going to look at the map of the course instead of just picking the road less taken. Moral of the story...make sure you don't have anywhere to go if you ever come running with me :)

Back to school

Yesterday was the first day of school. I didn't get much sleep on Sunday night I was so excited. I really felt like I was a kid again. It went well...no serious problems. It was craziness for dismissal, but that is to be expected. I have a sweet little class. I had one little girl with me for half the day, she wasn't on my list or didn't have any paperwork with her but said she was in my class. I went to the office the first chance I go and asked if she was added to my class and they started to laugh saying she was supposed to be in special ed. I felt so bad telling her I wasn't going to be her teacher anymore. But it was kind of funny that she just picked me, I don't know if that's a good sign or a bad one...lol.

I am all situated in my apartment now. Mom and dad came down last weekend and saw it. We went out to lunch on Saturday. On Friday I met them at Aunt Susans I think the funniest was hanging out with them and Willie at Aunt Susans. Willie and I taught mom how to dap someone up. I think I almost peed in my pants I was laughing so hard. At first she was too tense, then she was a noodle, she ended up getting pretty good at it. So next person that sees mom ask her to dap you up! Mom, dad, Aunt Susan and I went out to eat in Liberty, SC...if your asking where don't worry I did too. It is a LITTLE town and it is in the middle of no where, but they had an amazingly good Italian resturant. So if you are ever in Liberty try it out...Nino's.

Okay I need to go pick up my angels (so far so good) from Spanish class.
XOXO

It's over already?!

Well this summer flew by...I don't remember the last time it went by so fast...probably because I was having so much fun! I go back to Gville on Saturday. I am so thankful for Monte and Julie opening up their house to me. It was so awesome to stay here and be with them and the kids. We have had some good times. Way too many to write down on here, but maybe when I get a second I will.

This summer has taught me a lot. It was a rough begining, but God is so amazing. He has provided for me and shown me so many things this summer.

I have also loved being here because seeing Monte and JB has made me realize what I want in a marriage. They are so amazing to eachother and with their kids. Beckham and Ainsley are adorable(we all know that), but they are so well behaved. I used to think they just were blessed with "good ones", but being with them everyday I see how much hard work goes into being consistent and loving with them. Yes Beckham and Ainsley are also good kids too, but I think a lot of it has to do with how Monte and JB raise them. Julie is an incredible mom and is always thinking of fun things to do with/for the kiddos. Monte is a great dad...just today when he got home from work it almost made me cry seeing how excited the kids were to see him...they immediately stopped playing with me and jumped off the bed and ran down stairs with a huge smile and laughing. It was so sweet.

This summer has also been great because of thier church. I love the pastor and am thankful I got to hear him. I am definently going to be getting the podcast for his weekly sermons.

Okay I am babbling on, but I just wanted to take a blog second and reflect a little. I hope Monte and JB know how special this summer has been and how incredibly thankful I am. I don't think I can even express it! I love you guys :) I move to Gville on Saturday...pray that everything goes smoothly! xoxo
