I'm sure most of you know I have been teaching a student homebound. This means that I teach him at home for the school year. His name is Isaac and he is adorable. He has found a special place in my heart. He is getting homebound teaching because this summer a 40 pound cast iron bell fell on his head. It is a long story, but the medical attention was neglegent and left him paralyzed on his left side. He is doing a lot better, but still has a long way to go. I love going to his house because he always has a smile on his face.
Last night I was thinking about him while I was driving home from a session, I don't know why God put me in his and his family's life, but I really want to show God's love to them. They are struggling big time now and have to deal with the stress and trauma his accident has brought on. So please keep little Isaac and his family in your prayers. I don't have children, but I can only imagine what his parents are going through watching thier son do things for the first time...again. They are glad to have him here still, but as his mom says he's not the same Isaac.
So take a second and thank God for how blessed we are to be healthy and alive each day. Have a great day!
